A leading global bank is looking to appoint a Relationship Director within its Mid-Corporate Banking team, managing and developing a Leeds-based and surrounding areas portfolio across the Yorkshire & North East region.
This is a strong opportunity to take ownership of an established portfolio of mid-corporate clients, many of which are complex and private equity-backed, while also driving new business growth across the local market. You will act as a trusted adviser, structuring tailored funding solutions and building long-term, high-value relationships across the region.
The role would suit both experienced Relationship Directors and high-performing Associate Directors ready to step up into a broader, more strategic position.
You will operate in a collaborative, high-performing environment where commercial thinking, client relationship depth, and quality execution are key. Alongside managing and growing your portfolio, you will work closely with internal credit and product teams to deliver solutions and manage risk effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a Leeds & surrounding areas corporate client portfolio
- Originate new business and identify regional growth opportunities
- Structure and deliver complex lending and funding solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships across the local market
- Work closely with credit, risk, and product teams to deliver deals
- Support and mentor junior team members where required
