Technology PM / Scrum Master – Risk Transformation (Capital Markets)

Location: UK

We are looking for a Technology Project Manager / Scrum Master with strong experience in risk transformation programs within investment banking. The role involves managing delivery across technology and business teams, driving execution of large-scale initiatives across risk platforms, data and regulatory change programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technology-driven risk transformation programs (Market Risk, CCR, regulatory initiatives)
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, tracking and delivery
• Work closely with technology teams, BAs and business stakeholders to drive outcomes
• Track and manage project milestones, dependencies, risks and issues
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) where applicable
• Ensure alignment across front office, risk and IT teams
• Drive stakeholder communication and reporting across senior management
• Support UAT, release planning and production rollouts

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience as a Technology Project Manager / Scrum Master in banking
• Proven experience delivering risk or regulatory transformation programs
• Strong understanding of:
• Market Risk / CCR / Risk platforms / data flows
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, tech, quants, QA)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery models

Domain Experience (Critical)

• Experience in Investment Banking / Capital Markets
• Exposure to:
• Risk transformation programs (Market Risk, CCR, regulatory change)
• Understanding of:
• Trade lifecycle, risk data, reporting and system architecture

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to FRTB or regulatory programs
• Basic understanding of data platforms / APIs / system integration
• Experience working with global delivery teams
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Experience

• ~10+ years (senior profiles preferred)
