Junior Execution Trader – Systematic Hedge Fund – London

Attribution Search is partnered with a London based hedge fund, looking to hire a Junior Execution Trader into their systematic trading team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing environment, working closely with systematic strategies and gaining exposure to global FX and futures markets. The role sits on the trading desk and offers a blend of execution, market monitoring, and analytical responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Execute FX and futures trades in line with systematic strategies
• Monitor market liquidity, positions, rolls, and exposures
• Analyse execution performance and work to minimise transaction costs
• Support P&L reporting and monitor global news and market events
• Carry out end-of-day processes and trading desk procedures
• Maintain a strong understanding of compliance and market dynamics
• Contribute to longer-term projects as the role develops

Requirements:

• Degree in a STEM, Finance, or Economics-related discipline
• 2+ years’ trading desk experience or directly relevant environment
• Familiarity with FX and/or futures markets
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg
• Understanding of Order Management and Execution Management Systems
