A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Senior Manager for a 12 month duration with the potential of being taken onto another project. The project will take place in the City. Pay ranges from £340-380cis per day.
About the role of Senior Site Manager:
The role will be managing the full scale fit out of an 8+ storey office - worth £60m.
Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager:
- Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology.
- Experience managing all phases of fit out packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs.
- Knowledge of internal design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects.
- Understanding of internal materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly.
- Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring all health & safety protocols are in place.
- Manage risks, ensuring any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.
