We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team in providing a high performing Finance Business Partner service to the Community and Rehabilitation care group within the Trust.
The successful candidate will work closely with care group clinical and operational leadership teams to ensure they are given the business and financial support required to successfully run their care group and meet operational performance requirements within agreed financial resources. Where required, the successful candidate will be comfortable in facilitating transformational change to ensure financial sustainability.
The post holder will be someone who looks for innovative solutions to improve the financial performance of the Care Group and has excellent communication skills to inspire confidence in working with other professionals at a senior level both within the Trust and externally. They will also proactively engage in the management and development of individuals within the Financial Management team to ensure a high performing finance service is delivered.

Job responsibilities

Qualifications
- Qualified CCAB or CIMA Accountant
Personal Development
- Evidence of Significant Personal Development
Experience
- Significant Financial management experience at a senior level
- Strong Leadership skills with experience of staff management including recruitment, staff objective setting & appraisals & managing performance. Able to inspire others to succeed.
- Highly effective in designing, preparing & presenting highly complex financial & nonfinancial information to colleagues including Executive colleagues across the Trust.
- Able to build strong working relationships which inspire confidence on the advice given to finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Strong understanding of the NHS financial regime.
- Significant Financial management experience in the NHS.
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
- Strong IT skills and a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with excellent advanced skills in Excel.
