This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Broker on the Futures & Options desk, based in London. The position offers a dynamic opportunity to work in listed derivatives markets within a fast‑paced and high‑performing environment.

Responsibilities
The role holder will support brokers while progressively developing towards a broking position.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative and operational support to brokers on the Futures & Options desk
- Assist with the capture and booking of trades into internal systems
- Maintain accurate trade records and assist with post‑trade processing
- Liaise with back office, middle office, and compliance teams to resolve trade queries
- Support the desk with daily reconciliations and trade confirmations
- Liaison with brokers and customers to collect information. Responsible for identifying and correcting errors, bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practice procedures
- Adhere to BGC’s policies and compliance with BGC’s operational risk requirements
The successful candidate will be expected to study towards relevant CISI qualifications as part of their professional development. (e.g., Capital Markets Programme)
Personal Attributes
The role holder will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in financial markets, trading, broking, or front office support
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, French speaking is a plus
- Exposure to Futures & Options products is highly desirable
- Personal and professional integrity and credibility
- Confident and personable with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Is self‑motivated and able to demonstrate initiative
- A team player, who works well with others and can establish positive working relationships
Technical Skills
- Excellent PC skills including all Microsoft packages.
- Basic understanding of financial services industry, and the sector in which the organization operates.
- Good understanding of/or ability to understand relevant technologies.
