Job Description
- Must have a strong background in IT support, with proficiency in both macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues for internal users.
- Provide weekends and after-hours support as needed for critical issues or system upgrades.
- Provide effective onsite technical support for desktop/laptop/printer/application issues and installations, as well as basic network/server troubleshooting and administration.
- IT Hardware Tech Support Engineer to provide L1/L2 support for hardware inventory and software issues on Windows and Mac OS.
- Diagnose problems concerning personal hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.).
- Move new hardware, computers, phones across office buildings of client offices.
- Manage new hardware or software installation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong understanding of both macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in a Banks/Financial services environment.
- Experience and working knowledge of IT infrastructure support across a range of up-to-date technologies, including:
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT environment.
- General End User technology knowledge.
- End User Workspace platforms (discovery, asset management, client management).
- End User Microsoft platforms (Active Directory, Office, SCCM).
- Desktop/laptop/printer hardware.
- Windows 11 & macOS.
- Office 365, Exchange.
- Willingness to work weekends.
