On behalf of HM Land Registry, we are looking for a Security Architect (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based Hybrid in Plymouth. The role supports the governance, assurance, and design of HM Land Registry's Technical Architecture estate. A Security Architect creates and designs security for a system or service, maintains security documentation and develops architecture patterns and security approaches to innovative technologies. The post holder will keep up to date with advances affecting their technical domain and will be aware of, and take account of, cross‑government initiatives. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high‑level designs and artefacts that describe HMLR Architecture, will understand the relevant strategies that influence these and will contribute to wider activities that define future roadmaps.
HM Land Registry is looking for an experienced Security Architect to join its Security Architecture team on an assurance and architecture assignment. This role focuses on assuring multiple products across the organisation, ensuring security is designed in from the outset, proportionate to risk, and compliant. There is a growing demand for AI related security assessments, so experience assessing emerging technologies and associated risks is highly valuable.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short‑term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
This role can only be worked within the UK and not overseas.
