Clinical Deputy Manager
£49,838-£57,220 per annum (depends on experience)
Permanent – 42 hours per week
Maid to term: Monday to Friday, with occasional night visits or weekend work may be required

Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home
- Create and update individual care plans, maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date medication records
- Maintain correct staffing levels through efficient rota management, ensuring adequate staffing is always present
- Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity
- Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community within the home
- Develop relationships with local partners and liaise with them, playing an important role in raising the care home’s profile locally and beyond
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development
- Understanding of the benefits that high‑quality nursing care provides to residents; champion independence, choice and dignity
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning
- Effective communicator able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families
- Natural leader, ready to share clinical experience, lead and mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer service and relationships
- Excellent time‑management skills, able to prioritise workload effectively
- Respectful and compassionate team player willing to give personal best
