Responsibilities
- Driving best-in-class performance and compliance
- Continue to drive positive HSE culture and implement initiatives
- Review risk assessments, ISO standards, SOPs, fire risk and emergency preparedness
- Co-ordinate the internal audit programmeWalk arounds to interpret risk and build rapport with Ops staff and stakeholders
- Become a facilities expert in terms of EHS risk and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience of working within a medium or high-risk sector, including manufacturing, utilities, chemical, industrial, waste-to-energy, FMCG (hazardous materials)
- Some exposure to process safety or COMAH (or hazardous materials) would be advantageous
- Diploma preferred
- Experience with most of: LOLA, PUWER, WRAS, confined spaces, noise & dust, fixed wiring
- Influencing skills, likeable personality, able to coach & mentor, driven to succeed, Lead Auditor
- Knowledge of management systems of ISO 14001, 45001
- Adaptable under pressure, problem solver and a passion to learn and develop your skills
