Cleaner Streets and Waste Contract Support Manager

Responsibilities

• Support and deputise for the Cleaner Streets and Waste Contract Manager in running Cleaner Streets operations and Waste services contract.
• Assist with day‑to‑day management of the service, reporting and monitoring of relevant budgets.
• Manage people and resources in a multi‑disciplined environment and maintain a good understanding of contract management.
• Protect children, young people or adults at risk – a core responsibility of all council employees.

Requirements

• Experience in waste management and Cleaner Streets operations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing people and resources across multiple disciplines.
• Strong understanding of contract management.
• Good organisational and monitoring skills.

Hours: 37 hours per week. Fixed Term up to 31 July 2027. Hybrid Working Policy applies.
