Service Manager – Cancer Performance & Improvement (Maternity Cover) – Band 7

We are looking to recruit a Service Manager to cover Maternity leave within the Cancer Performance and Improvement team. Key Responsibilities
- Management of the Cancer Pathway Manager/s, MDT co‑coordinators and MDT support/trackers across the hospital sites.
- Monitor patient tracking lists, ensure RCAs are completed on breaching patients, and support the Associate General Manager with managing the cancer standards.
- Delivery of the cancer standards across the trust in conjunction with the Cancer Performance team and service providers.
- Work with clinical teams to manage and implement improvements of cancer pathways within all tumour sites.
Role Details
This role is fixed‑term and is open to a secondment opportunity. The contract is for 12 months, with the actual duration adjusted to account for advertisement, hiring process and finalisation of pre‑employment checks, so it may be slightly shorter than 12 months. The contract will begin when the candidate starts the role.
