Each JoJo store is unique, whether it trades over two floors, has a quirky layout or is situated in an interesting place. Our unique selling point is the relationship we build with customers. You’ll be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service that we are renowned for.
You’ll guide, inform, and assist customers in choosing from our huge range of clothing and products. As we move into a digital retail world, offering Omni‑Channel customer service is expected; you will take ownership of preparing and shipping all such orders daily.
A peek into your daily adventures:
- Assist customers in many diverse situations, from bra measuring to demonstrating a baby carrier.
- Prepare Omni‑Channel orders.
- Liaise with customers in store or via phone on Omni‑Channel orders.
- Use digital or virtual learning platforms to continuously develop your knowledge and retail skills.
- Embrace new product knowledge to increase sales opportunities.
- Actively listen to customers’ needs and find the best solution.
- Maintain the store’s appearance to a high standard.
Typical week: 1 × 6‑hour and 1 × 7.5‑hour shifts; flexibility is required in line with store requirements.
Skills that make you shine:
- Previous retail, customer service, and sales experience.
- Competent IT skills and excellent systems ability, with an aptitude to pick up new systems quickly.
- Ability to learn and retain a high level of product information and communicate it effectively.
- A self‑developing mindset and curiosity to learn new products independently.
- Strong sales ability with active listening skills, empathy, and an understanding of customers’ needs.
- Good teamwork and respectful communication within a small team.
- Flexibility to work in a retail environment that opens 7 days a week.
- Keen eye for detail and a role in maintaining store standards.
