We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Business Development Manager to expand our employer partnerships and grow apprenticeship and adult skills provision. This key role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, strengthening our employer network, and converting engagement activity into real learner opportunities. You will play a central role in developing our Employer Intelligence Strategy, ensuring employer insight and labour‑market data inform curriculum development and apprenticeship growth. Working collaboratively across curriculum, marketing, admissions and partnerships, you will help ensure the College responds effectively to employer demand while supporting strong progression outcomes for learners.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, employer engagement or sales
- A track record of generating new business and building partnerships
- Experience working to targets and performance indicators
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
