Quality Inspector (Dimensional & NDT)

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team on a day shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality and specification requirements through dimensional inspection and non‑destructive testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out dimensional inspection using a range of measuring equipment.
- Perform NDT inspections, including:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Dye Penetrant Testing (DPI)
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Identify non‑conformances and support corrective actions.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong dimensional inspection background.
- NDT certification or proven experience in:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
