Commitments

  • Basic Salary: £40,324 (includes location allowance)
  • On-target earnings (OTE): £44,000
  • Additional overtime paid at time and a half

Job Description

The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. You will be the friendly face providing first‑class service and repair work, whether at customers’ workplace or home. As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments, complete service inspections, handle breakdowns, provide on‑the‑spot repairs, and keep drivers on the road safely.

Responsibilities

  • A communicator: Master diagnostics and present information clearly so customers feel safe and confident.
  • A self‑starter: Thrive working independently or in a team, driving to various locations in all weathers.
  • Problem solver: Use technical ability to resolve a variety of issues, from roadside repairs to scheduled appointments.

Qualifications

  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings.
