Senior Commercial Finance Manager – Digital

The Senior Commercial Finance Manager – Digital reports to the Associate Director of the Commercial Finance Department. This role provides key financial support to digital trade teams and delivers critical insight into online performance, ensuring profitable sales and EBIT achievement across the digital business.
Responsibilities
- Provide commercial finance support to the Associate Director, maximising sales profitably across the digital business.
- Act as a true partner to Digital trading teams, delivering financial analysis, strategic insights and financial support focused on sales plans and EBIT targets.
- Contribute actively to trade meetings, supporting trade directors and the wider trade team.
- Deliver commercial, trading and financial insight into opportunities to accelerate profitable growth.
- Handle extensive data, translating clear messages from a range of sources.
- Create financial models for sales, margin and fulfilment scenarios.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting in the digital area, collaborating with partners to build deliverable plans.
- Identify and embed improvements in processes, analysis and tools.
- Work closely with Commercial Finance teams (Digital and broader Finance Business Partners) and across the Finance function.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Essential Commercial Finance / Business Partner experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills with a record of developing positive relationships with finance and non‑finance colleagues.
- Positive, flexible, enthusiastic and driven.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Particular interest in candidates with e‑commerce, marketplace, technology or digital sector experience.
