About the role
We are currently recruiting a Nurse Practitioner Prescriber to work within a busy and friendly GP surgery based in Doncaster. The position is offered on a locum basis.
Responsibilities
- Work both independently and with other health professionals to assess, diagnose and treat patients.
- Provide professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues as well as training to other members of the team.
- Undertake and interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests, such as cytology, venepuncture, blood pressure, ECGs.
- See and treat minor illness.
Requirements
- Registered with the NMC.
- Independent nurse prescriber.
- Hold an MSc or postgraduate diploma.
- Minor Illness and/or Injury trained.
- V300 Independent Prescriber.
- Work autonomously.
- See patients of all ages – birth upwards.
