Operations Manager – Fulfilment & Dispatch
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent (On Site Role)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 10:00pm
IMPACT EVOLVE is proud to be supporting a fast-growing eCommerce fulfilment business in their search for an Operations Manager to lead outbound warehouse operations and drive performance across a busy, high-volume dispatch function.
This business is experiencing rapid growth, processing tens of thousands of customer orders every day, and is seeking an ambitious and hands‑on leader to take full ownership of outbound fulfilment. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring every order leaves on time, accurately, and to the highest quality standards while developing a high‑performing team culture built on energy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage outbound fulfilment operations to ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time and in full.
- Build, coach, and inspire a motivated team, setting clear expectations and maintaining high operational standards.
- Track KPIs, analyse performance data, and take proactive action to maintain productivity and quality targets.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues, improve communication, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Drive structured improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and team engagement.
- Maintain strict safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards across the shift.
About You
- Experienced people leader with a track record managing large teams in a fast‑paced warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environment.
- Confident, decisive, and action-oriented — able to set direction, hold others accountable, and lead by example.
- Strong communicator who can engage, motivate, and influence at every level.
- Comfortable balancing hands‑on leadership with data‑driven performance management.
- A natural problem-solver with the resilience and drive to thrive in a high-growth operation.
- Experience in D2C / eCommerce fulfilment or exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Forklift certification is beneficial but not essential.
