Job Title: Electronic Systems Engineer

Reports to: Research & Development Manager


Position Summary

The Electronic System Engineer is responsible for the design and development of electromechanical systems, control systems, and supporting technologies. This includes the implementation of embedded controls, feedback systems, for Phoenix’s non-destructive testing (NDT) products, instruments and accessories. This position acts as a key technical liaison between the sales, engineering and production teams, supporting efforts to achieve annual revenue targets. The position will offer broad exposure and responsibility from concept design through to end-user applications. This position will be based at the Company’s facility in Warrington and reports to the Company’s Research & Development Manager.

Company Background

Phoenix are specialists in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic nondestructive testing solutions, offering a wide range of manual and automated transducers, scanners and manipulators. Phoenix provides a full range of UTS techniques including TOFD, phased array and pulsed echo, for weld testing, crack detection, corrosion mapping and composites.
