Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design across nuclear projects
- Produce and review key deliverables and specifications
- Support bids and proposals with technical input
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations and nuclear standards
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Work with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support installation, commissioning, and technical queries
Requirements
- Experience in electrical engineering within the nuclear sector
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS
- Understanding of UK regulations (ATEX, EMC, LVD, etc.)
- Experience delivering design across regulated environments
- Security cleared or eligible
- Chartered or working towards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
