Job type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Letchworth Garden City

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 6.00pm

Annual Salary: GBP35,000 per annum

Our ever‑growing client based in Letchworth Garden City are currently looking for a highly‑established Warehouse Manager to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. The successful candidate must be a hands‑on individual, who will be expected to ensure a smooth day‑to‑day running of their busy Warehouse & Logistics operations.

Main duties of a Warehouse Manager:

• Manage shopfloor operations within the Warehouse, ensuring the Warehouse team are compliant with Health & Safety regulations and standard operating procedures
• Delivering training, guidance, and support to the team to enable them to work effectively
• Hands on duties such as loading/unloading deliveries (by hand or FLT), checking for damaged/missing items, and supporting the team with the organisation of transfers/loading goods
• Supporting the Goods In team & Stock Controller by keeping record of the stock within the WMS, applying excellent attention to detail
• To track shipments and POD’s when required

What’s needed as a Warehouse Manager:

• Experience in managing Warehouse operations
• Forklift/Flexi Truck experience
• Strong communication and team playing skills
• Experience within the use of Warehouse Management Systems
• Ability to problem solve and propose solutions to issues that may occur
