Head Chef – London – 75k
MONDAY-FRIDAY
I am recruiting for a Head Chef for a flagship events catering contract in London however this is not a typical Head Chef role, you will have full culinary ownership – shaping menus, leading teams, managing operations and ensuring consistency and excellence.
For this Head Chef role, they require someone who is able to:
- Lead, motivate and develop full time and casual kitchen teams
- Create and deliver menus
- Manage all food procurement, stock control and waste reduction
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality produce at best market value
- Operate consistently within agreed budgets and due diligence frameworks
- Ensure quality, consistency and compliance across all kitchen production
- Uphold Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
- Manage rotas, hours, holidays and cover
- Control kitchen costs without compromising guest experience
- Lead regular team meetings and briefings
- Invest passionately in the training, mentoring, and progression of your team
