Principal Fire Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from university buildings to high‑rise residential towers.
- Run through design information, liaise with other disciplines, and present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.
- Advise the design team on safety improvements and changes to architecture.
- Assist the successful candidate in achieving professional registration via IFE and other organisations.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
- Willingness to work from any UK major office.
- Knowledge of fire standards and software packages.
