My client is looking for an experienced Planner to work for a Social Housing contractor in Cheam. This role is available ASAP.
Role and Responsibilities
- Planning engineers’ work so everyone knows where they need to be and when
- Taking ownership of engineers’ daily workloads and keeping things moving
- Handling inbound calls from engineers and helping resolve issues quickly
- Making sure engineers are ready for work and dispatching any spare jobs
- Booking and updating customer appointments
- Spotting issues early and helping reduce complaints before they escalate
- Adjusting schedules when there are absences or changes to planned work
- Keeping customers informed with clear, regular updates
- Supporting the wider team and jumping in where needed
- Making sure all daily tasks are completed by the end of the day
Requirements
- Confident communicator, both on the phone and in writing
- Happy to step up and help cover higher‑level tasks when needed
- Proactive and organised
- Flexible and able to adapt when plans change
- Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information
- Customer‑focused and solution‑driven
- Able to follow company and client processes
- Strong planning and organisational skills
