Main duties of the job
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Develop personalised care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Educate patients on health management, medication use, and preventive care strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Stay updated with the latest medical research, anatomy knowledge, and clinical practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications
- - Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- - MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent qualification)
- - Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
- - Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- - Competence in history taking, clinical assessment, and decision-making
- - Postgraduate modules in minor illness / minor injury management
- - Qualification or training in long-term condition management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- - Experience or certification in primary care / GP surgery
- - Teaching, mentoring, or leadership qualification
Experience
