As Quality Engineer, you’ll support and maintain the Business Management System while helping to embed a strong quality culture across the organisation. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and customer facing teams to ensure compliance, drive improvements, and resolve quality issues at source.
Responsibilities
- Supporting compliance to standards
- Leading product quality activities across production and customer issues
- Carrying out internal audits, process audits, and quality spot checks
- Developing and maintaining Quality Manufacturing Plans
- Supporting production teams with quality control measures
- Conducting inspections
- Managing non‑conformances
- Liaising with suppliers and supporting supplier quality and audit activity
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S
- Communicating quality performance and findings to stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience working to ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 or IATF 16949
- Experience conducting internal audits
- Confident working with data and using MS Office tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across different teams
