Quantity Surveyor – Civils
Location: Basildon (Office-based) | Energy Division
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all cost and commercial aspects of civils projects from the Basildon office.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, valuations, and final accounts.
- Administer contracts, variations, and claims in line with project requirements.
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure robust financial control.
- Provide accurate cost reporting to safeguard profitability.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong background in civils-related quantity surveying.
- Solid knowledge of NEC or similar contract forms.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both office and onsite teams.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
