The Role
We’re looking for a site‑based Maintenance Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working with precision machinery. You’ll be responsible for keeping high‑value CNC equipment running at peak performance by carrying out:
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Installing, servicing, and repairing 5‑axis machine tools.
- Fault‑finding and diagnosing issues on CNC milling machines, delivering effective corrective solutions.
- Interrogating PLC programs using Siemens S7.
- Working autonomously while communicating effectively with the wider team.
This is a role where you’ll own your work, take pride in solving problems, and be trusted to apply your engineering judgement.
About You
- A time‑served engineer or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
- Confident and experienced in troubleshooting 5‑axis CNC milling machines independently.
- Skilled in both verbal and written communication.
- Familiar with Siemens 840D CNC control systems.
