What will you be doing?
- Working on site within the project team you will be an integral part of the operation and delivery of many projects, gaining knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Form part of the Project Management Mechanical team
- Assist in delivering the mechanical design, manufacture and installation of plant and equipment on site.
- Aware of procurement and detailed design of the mechanical subcontract packages, chemical dosing, sludge plants, above ground prefabricated tanks and pipe work, odour control, MCC buildings etc.
- Assist/ aware work authorization, isolation and access permits.
- Assist/ aware in maintaining the construction issue drawing register.
- Carry out material delivery check inspections.
- Raise improve its and promote a positive H&S culture.
- Aware of safe systems of work, RAMS and COSHH assessments.
- Aware of short-term lookahead programmes, direct delivery and subcontract.
- Carry out inspection and test check sheets, quality control documentation.
- Assist/ aware in the testing and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment on site
- Assist/ aware in as built survey records, drawings and completion documentation, Operation and maintenance manuals

What will I need to be considered?
- GCSEs for English, Mathematics and Sciences at grade 4 or above.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport).
- A driving licence would be preferred.
- Flexibility – Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites.
- Great communication skills – written and verbal.
