Job Title: Transport Manager

Location: Doncaster

Salary: 50,000 - 60,000

Hours: Monday - Friday

Stafforce Recruitment are currently supporting the hire of an experienced Transport Manager for a leading UK manufacturing and distribution business. You will take full responsibility for managing an in-house transport operation, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day in-house transport operations
• Ensure full compliance with O Licence and transport legislation
• Lead and support a team of drivers and transport staff
• Plan routes and optimise fleet efficiency
• Monitor KPIs including cost, performance, and service levels
• Oversee driver compliance, training, and tachograph rules
• Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven in-house Transport Manager experience (essential)
• Valid CPC qualification (essential)
• Strong knowledge of UK transport compliance and regulations
• Experience managing fleets and driver teams
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
