Do you thrive in a dynamic work environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated Import Coordinator who can bring energy, efficiency, and expertise to our growing business.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately and efficiently submit customs entries, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and maintain all import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, phytosanitary certificates, and POAO certificates, ensuring accuracy and HMRC compliance.
  • Liaise with hauliers, customs agents, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve delays, documentation issues, or compliance concerns.
  • Track shipments proactively and provide timely progress updates to customers and hauliers.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, delivering clear and timely status updates.
  • Manage both personal and shared mailboxes, prioritising, tracking, and responding to enquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate internal trackers, updating them promptly to ensure all information remains current.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven hands‑on customs experience within an import or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, documentation, and HMRC compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail paired with strong organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficient workflow management.
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.
