Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nantwich

Salary: £48,000.00-£52,300.00 per year

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Manufacturing Food Site. The site operates 24/7 and the role is shift based 4 on 4 off (2d 2n 12hr shifts).

Licence/Certification: Qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer (required).

Qualifications: Time‑served Electrical Engineers with apprenticeship training and an FMCG or Food industry background.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Understanding of Electrical Control Automation systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Fault finding on pneumatic systems
• Electrical and mechanical installations, PLC, variable speed drives, and control circuit fault finding experience
• Competent at changing seal kits on a variety of high‑pressure and low‑pressure centrifugal pumps
• Mechanical Systems knowledge (Thermal Processes, Pumps, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Valves)
• Fast moving flexible packing production lines

Responsibilities

Perform fault finding on pneumatic systems.

Carry out electrical and mechanical installations.

Troubleshoot PLC, variable speed drives, and control circuitry.
