As a Ground Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our properties, both inside and out. You'll ensure our homes and communal spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming - places our customers are proud to live in.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Follow Health & Safety standards, Safe Systems of Work, and PPE requirements
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent BFL professionally
- Carry out general groundworks (fencing, paving, drainage, concreting, brickwork) and site maintenance
- Remove and safely dispose of waste, keeping areas clean and tidy
- Operate tools and equipment safely; report defects and maintain vehicles
- Complete records accurately, manage materials efficiently, and meet performance targets while supporting safeguarding

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Skilled in fencing, paving, drainage, concrete laying, brick laying, and general groundworks
- Basic roof guttering experience is preferred
- Groundworking qualification (e.g. NVQ or equivalent) - desirable
- Flexible and reliable with a positive, can‑do attitude
- Comfortable using mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones
- Able to use email and basic IT systems confidently
Other Requirements:
- A Basic DBS check is required (arranged by BFL)
- A Full UK Driving licence
- If you hold any relevant qualifications, we'll need to see the original certificates
