We are looking to recruit a Front of House and Retail Coordinator to join our Schools, Lifelong Learning & Culture service. This is a fixed‑term contract ending 31/08/2026. You will be the welcoming face of Ceredigion Museum, manage the shop, oversee front‑of‑house volunteers, promote the museum and its activities, and ensure the safety of the museum, its visitors and staff.
Responsibilities

- Ensure the safety of the museum, its visitors and staff
- Navigate busy and quiet periods effectively, establishing priorities and maintaining methodical work routines
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good eye for detail and creativity
- IT proficient
- Commitment to the principles of Customer Care and Equal Opportunities for service users and colleagues
- Welsh fluency at the level specified in the person specification (see the full specification for details)
Working Hours & Pay
- Weekend working is part of the normal working week or rota
- Saturday: time and a quarter
- Sunday: time and a half
- Bank holiday working may be required – choice of double time or single time with a day off in lieu
