Overview

An opportunity has arisen in the Security Team at CUH.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee operational car parking services, ensuring high level service delivery.
  • Develop and implement the Trust’s car parking policies and procedures and audit their application.
  • Liaise effectively with managers and services to make complex decisions that will impact on parking across the Trust, involving complex and sometimes controversial conversations with supply partners, requiring diplomacy and decisions that may not be popular.
  • Provide a central advisory and information service on all matters concerning car parking, based on current Approved Codes of Practice (ACOP’s), British and European standards, together with all other national initiatives and directives on parking.
  • Accountable for car parking services and lead the development by maintaining and enhancing the standard of the whole operation in accordance with the service needs and contracts to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Use a number of IT applications, developing specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices, underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience, being responsible for the operational management of the access control systems.
  • Collate data for financial analysis and recharging purposes across the Trust through identified parking systems and associated reporting matrix’s.
  • Ensure that any risks related to area of responsibility are monitored, risk assessments updated, tracking all changes through the Trust risk register.
  • Report & liaise on a daily basis with the Head of Service to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the operational delivery of a high level service.
