Location: Reading (Hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 basic + £15,000 commission

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional looking to step into a closing role within a high-growth SaaS environment. Ideal for someone ready to move beyond lead generation and take ownership of deals, with clear progression into a full Account Executive or Sales Leadership role within 6–9 months.

The Role

As a Junior Account Executive, you will work warm and qualified opportunities generated by the SDR function, running discovery, managing sales conversations, and supporting deals through to close. You’ll be closely supported by senior sales leaders while developing the skills needed to succeed as a fully fledged AE.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and SDR-qualified leads
• Running discovery calls and understanding customer needs
• Delivering product demos with support from senior AEs
• Progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Accurately forecasting and updating activity in CRM
• Building strong relationships with prospective customers

What We’re Looking For

• Some commercial or sales experience (SDR, BDR, account management, recruitment, customer success, or similar)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Confident handling sales conversations with guidance
• A motivated, coachable mindset with long-term sales ambitions
• Interest in SaaS and technology-led solutions
