Freelance AV Installation Engineer

We are working with a client supporting a university in Swansea that requires an experienced AV Installation Engineer for a month-long freelance contract throughout May.

This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality AV installations across teaching spaces and campus environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of AV systems across lecture theatres, classrooms, and meeting spaces
• Cabling, termination, and containment work
• Rack build and equipment installation
• System setup and basic commissioning
• Working alongside project teams to deliver installs to a high standard

Requirements:

• Proven experience in AV installation environments
• Strong understanding of cabling and system integration
• Experience with rack builds and equipment setup
• Ability to work independently on site
• Own tools preferred

Contract Details:

• Freelance contract throughout May
• Based on site in Swansea
• Competitive day rate
