Job Title: Commissioning Supervisor (Electrical Bias)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation for a Commissioning Supervisor (Electrical Bias) to support delivery across substation, utilities, and energy projects.

The Role

A hands-on, site-based position supporting Commissioning Engineers with testing, inspections, and system energisation, ensuring safe and compliant project delivery through to client handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, pre-commissioning, and energisation activities
• Carry out inspections, testing, and system checks
• Assist with troubleshooting and fault finding
• Complete commissioning documentation and test records
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures (PTW, LOTO) and quality standards
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and engineers

Requirements

• Level 3–6 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
• Experience in commissioning within energy, utilities, or infrastructure
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Certifications

• CCNSG or ECS HS&E (or willingness to obtain)
