Pipefitter

Role Overview:

We are recruiting experienced Pipefitters to support mechanical installation and maintenance activities on a long-term project. This role involves working to detailed drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality, safe installation of piping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and fit pipework systems to specification
• Read and interpret isometric drawings and technical documents
• Carry out pipe cutting, threading, bending, and fitting
• Align pipework and prepare for welding activities
• Work closely with welders and supervisors to ensure efficient delivery
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality standards
• Follow permit-to-work systems and site procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial environment
• Ability to read and work from isometric drawings
• Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques and processes
• Experience working with carbon and stainless steel pipework
• Valid trade qualifications or apprenticeship
• Strong commitment to health & safety
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g. nuclear, oil & gas, or similar)
• Previous site-based project experience
• Additional mechanical or fabrication skills
