A leading provider in the UK primary and preventative care market, is currently at a pivotal stage of its evolution. Following a series of strategic acquisitions, the organisation has established a dominant presence across Corporate wellbeing & Psychological Therapy services.

We are seeking a high-calibre Director of Operations to serve as a Transformation Lead. This individual will be responsible for unifying disparate business units into a cohesive, digitally-enabled service capable of supporting 20–30% annual growth.


The Mandate: From Fragmentation to Operational Excellence

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will move the business beyond its current infrastructure constraints to create a scalable, high-performance organisation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • System Integration: Oversee the consolidation of multiple case management systems into a single, streamlined platform.
  • Structural Alignment: Merge separate clinical and administrative streams into a unified national structure.
  • Commercial Performance: Implement robust frameworks focused on EBITDA, utilising data-driven insights to ensure sustained profitability.
  • Digital Innovation: Leverage artificial intelligence and modern technology to improve clinical outcomes and the overall user experience.


The Candidate: A Data-Driven Strategic Operator

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced operator who excels in fast-paced, scale-up environments. You must possess the resilience to stabilise complex systems and the ability to communicate with absolute clarity and brevity.

Key Requirements:

  • Commercial and Financial Acumen: A profound understanding of organisational metrics. You must be comfortable presenting facts and figures to a leadership team that prioritises data over anecdotal evidence.
  • Matrix Influence: The ability to navigate a complex corporate structure, effectively influencing shared central services such as IT and HR to achieve departmental goals.
  • Sector Expertise: Significant experience in Occupational Health is essential. A background in the independent healthcare sector is essential, though supplementary.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: A commitment to viewing customers as partners, ensuring all operational changes prioritise the client experience.
