We are working with a client in the live news content technology space who is looking to hire Broadcast Support Engineers to join their growing Technology team.
This role sits within a 24/7 operational environment, where you will play a key role in maintaining service availability and supporting critical systems. You will act as a key interface between engineering and operational teams, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for systems and services
- Respond to incidents and coordinate resolutions
- Support system changes, upgrades, and installations
- Assist with root cause analysis and problem management
- Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and technology rollouts
- Work closely with internal teams, service owners, and external suppliers
- Participate in a 24/7 support rota (including nights, weekends, and public holidays)
Requirements:
- Experience in broadcast, content technology, or IT operational environments
- Strong technical understanding across systems and workflows
- Proven ability to make decisions in operational or high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on minimising downtime
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
