About the Opportunity
This role is with Apex Urban Development, the development arm of the Launchpad.
An exciting chance to join a growing co-living venture at the ground level, leading new projects from inception to delivery. You’ll work closely with the board and key partners to shape and deliver an ambitious development pipeline, with real influence over the company’s growth and direction.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead projects end-to-end, taking full ownership of delivery and key milestones
• Negotiate legal, development and funding agreements
• Secure planning consents, finance, lettings and disposals
• Build, lead and motivate high-performing project teams
• Drive viability assessments and scheme development appraisals
• Manage budgets and expenditure within company approval levels
• Prepare and present board reports, forecasts and scheme presentations
• Identify and secure new development opportunities in line with company strategy
• Represent the company professionally and build relationships in the marketplace
• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to co-produce solutions
What We’re Looking For
• Proven track record in residential, PBSA and/or co-living development
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing project teams
• Strong financial modelling and commercial appraisal skills
• Ability to manage competing stakeholder demands in a challenging environment
• Excellent communication skills, written reports, presentations and negotiations
• MRICS qualified preferred, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and Argus Developer or similar
• Self-starter, commercially astute and able to work on own initiative
