Abernethy House Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly, well-established, training practice in Enfield for 4 to 8 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
Regular duties will include telephone and face to face consultations, home visits (we are supported by the community Rapid Response Team as well as the Care Home Assessment Team), reviewing lab results and Docman letters, checking and issuing prescriptions, as well as contributing to the MDT and the weekly clinical meeting.
About us
We are a well established surgery in Enfield, North London and are part of West Enfield Collaborative PCN. The surgery has 12,600 registered patients and is the nominated surgery for a number of nursing and residential homes in the area. The team is comprised of three partners (who are also GP trainers), eight salaried GPs, two nurses, three pharmacists, two physician associate and we currently have two GP trainees at various stages of training. We have a nominated experienced GP for each day who is available to answer questions from any clinician in the surgery if needed. We provide extended hours on Thursdays.
Job responsibilities
The job entails all work expected by a GP including (but not limited to):Patient consultations (Face to face and Telephone), dealing with results and scanned letters, one day duty GP once a week

- GP registered with GMC UK with a license to practice
