Job Title

KSS Paediatrics Training Programme Director.

Role Overview

The Training Programme Director works with and supports the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate. The role is professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School and focuses on improving learner supervision, assessment and experience, engaging faculty, ensuring effective educational outcomes, and driving whole workforce transformation and the development of multi‑professional links.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.
• Improve learner supervision, assessment and experience, and engage faculty to ensure effective educational outcomes.
• Support the Postgraduate Dean across health and, where relevant, social care, ensuring educational provision reflects changing service models.
• Drive whole workforce transformation and develop multi‑professional links.
• Provide leadership and managerial oversight to achieve educational objectives and workforce development.

Conditions & Expectations

Employers with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Secondments
