Shift Pattern: Varies from day to day but planned in advance

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and training the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond in their role by developing their operational and leadership skills.
• Coach the team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the store’s products, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality and service to ensure repeat visits.
• Lead the team in driving trade activity, using expertise and knowledge to grow sales and maximise profit.
• Lead and build managers’ knowledge to deliver and sustain the Store Change Plan and resource‑planned activities, ensuring hours are worked where they most benefit customers, and identifying and resolving root‑cause issues with sustainable solutions and continuous reviews.
• Ensure the safety of colleagues is the top priority, maintaining a legally trading store by coaching the team to use all security tools to provide a safer place to work.
• Communicate knowledge, experience and best practices, working collaboratively with the team to deliver results.
• Be natural and welcoming with customers, placing them at the heart of all interactions, listening and building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Use energy and resilience to keep momentum in challenging environments, owning decision making for the store and acting quickly, making decisions that are right for customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrate energy and drive to deliver beyond expectations, consistently doing the right thing whether everything is going well or times are tough, and inspiring confidence in those around you.
• Remain aware of competitors and continually seek new initiatives to improve the store for customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be over 18 years old. (If the role requires work before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm, or involves warehouse, beer, wine, spirit, counters, bakery, or driving activities, the minimum age is 18.)

• Must provide bank account details before the agreed start date.
