About the role
This is a senior number‑two position, where you will partner with the Regional Partner to strengthen CPC’s regional footprint and drive both acquisition and delivery of work. You should already be operating at Associate Director or Director level, with a proven track record in business development and a strong network you can leverage.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead business development activity, using your network to identify and secure opportunities.
- Deliver project management commissions from early engagement through to completion.
- Act as a trusted advisor across multiple sectors and project stages.
- Work closely with the Regional Partner to convert pipeline into secured work.
- Support the development of a high‑performing regional team, including future hires.
- Help shape CPC’s North West growth strategy and identify new markets.
Qualifications
- Experience at Associate Director or Director level with a proven business‑development record.
- Strong network and ability to engage senior stakeholders across public and private sectors.
- Comfortable operating in complex environments and leading delivery from the front.
- Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence early‑stage discussions.
