Salary: £39,862 – £42,839 per annum
Contract: Home working, 37 hours per week, Permanent

Role Overview
The Economic Development team seeks a Senior Town Centre and Economic Development Officer to oversee projects and strategies around car parks, town centres, markets, economic development, and the visitor economy. This high‑profile role works closely with local businesses and community members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and deliver projects and strategies for car parks, town centres, markets, and visitor economy.
- Lead the operational management of car parks.
- Develop and support traditional markets and market traders.
- Engage with local businesses and community stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external contractors, consultancy teams, funding bodies, and governance processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in operational management of car parks.
- Experience in developing traditional markets and supporting traders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of local authority governance, funding processes, and external stakeholders.
