Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a hands‑on Applications / Project Engineer in Fareham to support the development and delivery of advanced touch and sensing technologies. This is a varied role combining product development, customer interaction, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities of a Applications / Project Engineer

• Develop, prototype, and validate touch, force, and haptics-based products
• Perform system testing, tuning, and firmware validation
• Act as a technical contact for customers, translating requirements into solutions
• Support projects from concept through to production
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support when needed
• Assist the sales team with technical input and customer demonstrations

Requirements of a Applications / Project Engineer

• Degree in Electronics, Physics, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• Strong circuit analysis and hands‑on hardware skills (including soldering)
• Basic programming/firmware knowledge (e.g. C, Python)
• Structured problem‑solving approach

Desirable: experience with EMC testing, capacitive sensing, or CAD/3D tools
