Apprentice Engineer

Level 3 Food & Drink Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship – Moreton

First year salary: £23,809 per annum.

Annual leave: 5 weeks + bank holidays.

Position: 2 Apprentice Engineers.

Location: Moreton, Cadbury plant.

What you’ll be doing

In year one, you will attend college full‑time and spend holidays on site to apply what you learn.

In years two and three, you will work on‑site with experienced engineers, receive mentoring, and continue block‑release studies.

In years four and five, you may work shifts (day and night) as part of a dedicated engineering team. Your performance will determine if further qualifications are needed.

On completion, you will become a multi‑skilled engineer.

What we need from you

• At least 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/ C or above in Maths, Science and English
• A genuine interest in engineering and food technology
• Drive, enthusiasm, commitment to learning and to passing on knowledge to others
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude with colleagues
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends
